the hunger project- helping to end world hunger

    We donate 10% of all profits to "The Hunger Project," a charity organization that stands in partnership with people living in poverty as they work to end their own chronic hunger. They focus on empowering women through individual and collective action to transform the systems of inequity that create hunger and cause it to persist. 

    We believe deeply in their mission in which they, "firmly believe that empowered women are key change agents and are an essential element to achieving the end of hunger and poverty. When women are able to access resources and support, we see them shift community priorities toward issues of sanitation, nutrition, health and education. 

   They work locally. "Local leadership is critical to the development of these programs. In all countries where we work, we hire locally."

   And finally, they work towards "self-reliance, not dependency. We leverage government resources and inspire community action to holistically address the systems of inequity keeping hunger in place."
